The story takes place in an old orphanage founded in 1831 by the couple Witold and Jadwiga Małolepszy. Thirty years later, in 1860, mysterious murders occurred on the grounds of the orphanage. However, the police could not explain what had happened and the case was dropped; an exorcist was also involved in the investigation, but it is not clear why, the whole case was dropped. The entire game you are about to dive into takes place in 2006, when the police received a notice from the concerned headmaster of a local school. The absence of all the girls from the orphanage aroused the suspicions of the headmaster, who asked the police for help. From the police intervention report, we can read that “no one was found in the orphanage, the residents’ personal belongings are left at their usual spots, and there is no indication that anyone has left.
