The Butcher of Niebuszewo

It’s 1952. A young woman has disappeared — she left home without saying where she was going and never returned. Her worried husband reported the case to the Citizen’s Militia. You — young cadets at the militia academy — finally get your first serious case. You are to search the apartment of a certain Józef Cyppek, a neighbor of the missing woman. Her husband testified that when he peered through Cyppek’s window he spotted his own duvet there, which he definitely hadn’t left. Suspicious. So you hurry off to investigate the flat — you have an hour before the owner returns from the cinema. You step over the threshold with purpose and immediately feel a chill… this place is bad… very bad…
